#BeijaInspo: Is The Feminine Form Vulgar?

The Vulgar exhibition at The Barbican centre was a feast for fashion fiends. How wonderful to be up close to some truly spectacular and iconic pieces of wardrobe history. For the open minded, the collection wasn't vulgar at all. Vulgarity is a boring concern of the prudish and easily offended. A centuries old quandary that fashion mavericks have had to confront.

What interests me is the suggestion that the exaggerated female form is vulgar. Boobs, bums, waists and hips. The shapes our bodies make are not vulgar. We are not vulgar. We are women.
