The Best Places To Shop in London

The Best Places To Shop in London

In London we are lucky enough to have some of the coolest places to go shopping. Wherever you go there's going to be a different kind of vibe to the last place. Below I’ve listed some of my favourite places for all different types of shopping!

Coal Drops Yard - Cool artsy vibes

Next to the famous fashion school Central Saint Martins, is the chic Coal Drops Yard. Being next to an art school, it's got very cool quirky vibes to it. And of course that means the shops are too! First on the list here is Beija London - a super gorgeous lingerie store. This brand caters to women of all ages and a massive variety of sizes. They have their own unique sizing system - X,Y, Z which goes from AA up to H cup! All their styles are designed to make women look and feel amazing in gorgeous fabrics and delicate lace. Whether you’re going in for yourself or for someone else, it's such a beautiful store and you’ll always feel welcomed. If you really want to treat yourself after getting some nice new lingerie, Casa & Plasa Pastor does the best Mexican food and cocktails to end the day.

Shoreditch - After shopping drinks

There's no better place to kick off a fun evening than Shoreditch. First starting at one of my favourite clothing brands, Glassworks London - they have super trendy pieces that are made in limited quantities keeping it so unique. Glassworks are quality over quantity, their pieces are timeless and can be styled with anything. After grabbing yourself a cool outfit it's time for a well deserved drink. The Boxpark next to the overground is the perfect place to have a bite and beer. They’ve got multiple bars and food vendors serving up delicious street food and fun drinks. If you’re looking for a vibe, that's the place to be.

St Christophers Place - Peace at last

Of course when it comes to shopping, Oxford Circus has got absolutely everything but it's also crazy busy and can be quite stressful. Luckily, tucked away behind Selfridges and the main street is St Christopher Place. Here is where you’ll be able to shop in peace, there's Kurt Geiger to get your shoe fix, Astrid & Miyu for your fine jewelry that won’t break the bank, and of course the restaurants. The simple pleasure of sitting outside Cote after shopping, having a lovely glass of wine with some french fries while watching the people go by. It’s the perfect calm to end the day!

Brick Lane and Spitalfields - Vintage galore

These ones are for the markets. If you’re after vintage, then Brick Lane and Spitalfields is the place to go. You could spend an entire day browsing the tonnes of vintage collections here. Not only precious vintage clothes and shoes, but everything else too. One shop I love to browse is Rough Trade. Here you’ll find just about anything, but most importantly is their record collection. The shop is filled with a massive collection of vinyl records from all different genres, you’ll always find something different in here. It's not just about the shops here though, there's also the All Stars bowling alley. Normally bowling alleys can be quite tacky, but not All Stars. Like an old school movie these alleys have a diner style restaurant with incredible burgers bound to get you ready for a game. And of course during your game you're going to need a cocktail - well you’re in luck because they've got them too. Happy days!
